First Mac Haul

Got all these stuffs from Taiwan. Seriously I didn't intend to get so MUCH make up. I only wanted the blotting powder (to blot out the oil) but ended up getting all these. My grandma bought all these stuffs for me =) so blessed~! but feel so bad making her spend so much money on me throughout the entire trip there...

'Overview' of the stuffs i got

This was a 'free' gift. You get it when you spend $xxx amount of money. Its prep and prime and its a make up base. Its like lavender so I guess it brightens up your face. I haven't used this yet because I am already using green and lavender make up base from Laneige. Those are pretty good as well =)

This is the Studio Sculpt Foundation SPF 15. This is like the n-th foundation I have used! I mean I have been foundation hopping ever since I started make up. Tried many different brands but can't quite seem to settle on one. This one sadly doesn't really work for me as well. I think its too thick and heavy for my daily use. It makes my face even more oily~ Sigh...

This is the blot pressed powder which I went to MAC to get but ended up getting a whole lot more stuffs. This is just pressed powder with really sheer and light coverage, so that it does not add too much colour to your existing foundation and it would not look like its 'caked' on.

I actually don't use the powder puff they provide. I use a kabuki brush from Body Shop. I love body shop brushes =) more so than mac. They are soft and dense and feel really good on the skin~

Really like this lip gloss colour! =) Its called Cremesheen glass (don't really get the name hah) but ya its really nice... The mac counter sales lady had it on her lips and my grandma was like this colour is nice~ You should get one too~ And i got it =) Speaking of which, the mac counter sales lady was really REALLY friendly and helpful. I find the MAC ppl in Taiwan a whole lot more friendly than MAC ppl in Singapore. OOpsss! But its the truth! There were a few times I went to MAC counters in Singapore and the staff were like blah... I hardly saw any of them there. The few that I saw were like busy doing their OWN make up. Tsk tsk... SO even though I have visited like a few times I have only bought on two occassions~ Even so they were sold out of a brush I wanted and I asked them to call me but they DID'NT. So i really have a bad impression of the MAC ppl here. SIGH~

Yup anyways! Enough of complaints and BACK to MAC =p The colour is called Partial to Pink. Cute =) I love this colour.

This is a cremesheen lipstick =)

Its called Creme Cup

That's how it looks =) It does add a little colour but the lady said that it was to like 'correct' the colour on my lips. So I guess its sort of a lip base as well~

I use this a lot more than Partial to Pink actually. Because this is matte?? and its more practical for daily use. The cremesheen glass has gloss to it and its a bit 'dressy' so I use it lesser...

This is Mineralize foundation/loose powder. I guess you can use it as a foundation? But I use it as loose powder, to like touch up during the day when my face gets oily etc.

Comes with a sponge protector and a sponge applicator. I think the applicator is cute =) And then again being the odd me... I do not use the applicator instead I use my Kabuki brush from The Body Shop.

This is my gel eyeliner. My first time trying gel liner and I am loving it =) This shade is in black and its called Blitz and Glitz.

I bought this eyeliner brush because I did not have such a thin slanted eyeliner brush. This is the MAC 266. I like this brush a lot =) And it works really well with the gel liner. I used to swear by liquid eyeliners. I have used mostly drugstore brands. My last one from loreal smudged a lot and by the end of the day it was almost gone because of my oily lids. The gel liner lasts really long for me. And since I have oily lids, eyeliners tend not to stay. But this one does. And I am happy =)

This is Sheertone Blush

This is how it looks like =) This shade is called Pink Swoon. Like it =) Gives me rosy cheeks~

Always a fan of pink blush. Don't like orange tone blush. I think they look odd (at least on me)

This is the MAC 316. Its a lip brush but sadly I haven't had a chance to use it yet. That's cos I apply my cremesheen glass and lipstick directly to my lips. Perhaps I should use it with my Body shop lip balm =)

Oh gosh this blog is so dead... Have the sudden urge to 'revive' it. I wonder who even reads it sometimes...

Anyway this June '09 I had a MAJOR room makeover! I am sooo pleased. Thanks to so many ppl. My brothers my dad and auntie... ^_^ Yay!

Look at all the 'side' dishes! *Faints* reminded me of meal time in korea during our trip last june... Seriously koreans have LOTs of side dishes... mostly spicy, veggie... That's now bibimbap came about I guess... When they cannot finish all these veggies... they threw all of the 'leftover' veggies from the previous night and throw all of them into the rice, put some bean paste sauce, mix it up and eat!

The soup was cold though (intentional) didn't like it *shudders* I like my soup hot thank you =p

The spicy chicken! Yum yum yum! They had rice cakes (yay!), tender chicken, sweet potato/pumpkin, onions, potato, green onion, and some other veggies =p

Love love love rice cakes! I think there were about like 10 pieces of these? And I ate like ALL, shany only ate 1.. cos she doesn't like it that much... So she ate more of the yummy seaweed rice =)

The seaweed rice! Looks like any fried rice rite =p But its niceeee... Initially we thought it could be eaten without frying, then when we reached for the bowl the chef/waitress said it has to be cooked baha~

MacRitchie (the never ending) Trails

Shany and I set off for MacRitchie Reservoir 25th June early in the morning! Met at 8 am! and reached the place around 9am~

4 colours represent each trail. All trails start from this point~ We were SUPPOSED to take the Green route which was 3km and easy peasy~ BUT we ended up taking the blue route cos on the printed out map, these two colours were so close!

These wooden markers were the only thing which kept my sanity haha.. I was going crazy imagine walking without knowing what's at the end and how long you'll take

::Trivia::

1. Didn't expect the trail to be SO long but was pretty amazed that we managed to walk about like 14km?

2. Along the yellow route there was this shady stretch of wooden bridge. That was the WORST part of the whole trail... Cos i saw THREE of my arch enemies. I almost didn't want to cross over. Luckily shany protected me! SO brave ya =p But i think I scared her too with my screams~

3. The weather was good! It wasn't scorching hot so that made the walking much easier! When it started to rain we were at the ranger station =) Lucky lucky us =p

Kallang Leisure Theme Park

Shany and I wanted to go to Kallang Leisure Theme Park to ice skate... or perhaps bowl.. or perhaps do something really fun! Since it promised to be Exciting and Exhilarating...

Sad thing was that half the day was gone because I had to go to TPSS to attend a meeting. It HAD to fall on 19th June... aiyo... Luckily alr celebrated a bit the day before...

The Kbox looked pretty empty too... The cinema called Film Grande looked pretty cool, but too bad we weren't planning to watch a movie...

We went to this eatery called Rosti haha... as you can guess their speciality is Rosti... It was oh-kay... not too bad not too good...

The fantabulously superyummlicious spoonlicking nice Nihon Sensation!

This is one dessert I totally think is worth the money! Much better than Ice Monster =x hee oops... For one it had a LOT of ice. I thought the ice looked TOO much but it was JUST the right amount! I hate eating ice desserts which end up in a puddle.

It had mango cubes, mango pudding, mango jelly, mango ice cream, frozen strawberry with cream, more fruity jelly at the bottom, fresh strawberries, and mini round jelly bits... It was not too sweet yet not too boring. I l-o-v-e it la~ Thanks to my friend cat who introduced it to be last year haha!

My first attempt in baking a cheesecake! Well technically its non-bake. It turned out pretty well although a little bit ugly waha.. Thanks to my aunty and fren for the advice! ^_^

Cupcake cheesecakes! Had extra biscuit base to spare and luckily i bought an extra block of cheese and still had half a pack of konnyaku jelly left! So i made 8 more of this cheesecupcakes

Put lesser gelatin in this one. Duno if the cheese is softer cos I havent tried it myself! heh... I only tried the cake and it was a tad too hard.

My cute niece came over on 19th and 20th =) She's really adorable la especially when she smiles... She gives you this grin that is soooo WIDE... and she always calls me... gu-gu ^_^ Hearing her speak you feel like melting. its just shoooo cute! Every time she comes to my house she will want to come upstairs to ~~look for me~~ play with my toys hee =p she's just sooo busy busy busy playing... she loves to eat too! She can feed herself rice =p

THe white dots were done with fabric paint! waha... but i bought some pearl white stones for the next time i do this design, so it would look more 'even'.

My BodyShop card's expiring this May T_T Sobs... so go get some stuffs before i lose the 15% discount. I have to spend another like $400-$700 over before I can like maintain this Star Loyalty card tingy... Which is like impossible! Thinking of whether I should sign up again next year. Have to pay $10 for a year just for 10% membership... I think their rebates are pretty good thought. I just used my $10 rebate to buy an angel pink nail polish O.P $12.90 (but then only paid $2.90 for it =)

Bought the Spa Wisdom! My cousin recommended it long time ago but was unsure whether to get it or not. Bath Salt which leaves your skin smooooth =) I like he smell of it... Its comforting and almost nostalgic (it just reminds me of something I can't quite pinpoint what)

Btw Vitagen Collagen has a new flavour! Elderflower! Its super duper yummy~ Its yellow~ They replaced the Lavender flavour. I thought they should have replaced one of the rose pink one with the elderflower so that there are like 4 flavours available... Anyways I love the Elderflower one...! So sad there's only ONE in each pack!

Went to Wheelock Toy's Inc to buy this minature set again! Placed order for it cos this set is so popular there's always no stocks! Its really pretty huh! I always wanted to work in a cake shop... Love the rich aroma of coffee, sweet scent of pastries, clinking of the coffee cups on the platter~ *melts into a poodle*

Really understand by pictures don't do some things justice at all.. This set is sooo lovely and intricate... All the little chocolates are soooo.... well made wahaha.. *loves*!

Went to Shaheena's house to cook! Really tiring la started from scratch. But sad I could not stay for the entire cooking process cos it took much longer and I had to go =(

Sweet and Sour chicken plus Bird's Nest Delight (without the Bird's Nest) haha!

This is the prawns that goes into the Bird's Nest Delight. There were LOTs of prawns. This is only about 1/2 of what I peeled. They were pretty huge too. I had to shell them then remove the insides. Woo yew hah... My hand was like itching~

This is the batter for frying the chicken for the sweet and sour chicken =)

Most of the cutting were done by Phillip hee... Which is really remarkable! Cos he said he has never done cooking before and cutting all this. But i Think he did a gooood job =)

Bored...

Dog sitting Zac was really fun... esp I was so bored! Then he was there to pei me =) All the waking up early in the morning to feed him, take him for a walk and bathe him was worth it hee... I esp love to blow dry him and comb his furs till he is fluffy =) When my coussies came to pick him she asked if i bathed him? cos he looks so fluffy. Usually at the end of the week he wld not look so gd anymore tee hee... The combing and blow drying two times a day paid off ^_^

Zac was real sweet too... The last time he came over, my maid was still around so usually she cleaned him and all... But this time I did everything for him so i guess he really felt my love love love for it hee.. Tat's why this time before he went home he actually came up to me for a huggy ^____^ Big grin... He's so sweet~

He goes wherever I go and waits for me downstairs when I am upstairs... Miss u Zachy!! T_T

I think my laptop's gone. Just as I said I was going to back up the files. And i didn't! Or so I haven't! Sad. Will go bring it to apple to repair it on Thursday or so. I really hope they can at least revive it so that I can save whatever I need to. It's really so sad! My 4 year old laptop. I wonder how long laptops last. Has mine had a long enough life? Perhaps I should be happy? I can finally get a new lappie! But then again perhaps I can't get a new one yet... Boo well.. But thank god now is the holidays and that there are no important documents which I need to retrieve. But all my pictures and songs! S.A.D really sad. I guess I really have to learn to accept that things spoil, fishes die, people leave this world. Oh dear I am being soooo...... oh well...

Went to see the die da sinseh today... First time gg... I am so surprised I even went.. I usually hate gg to see docs.

My big fat ugly leg...Why din I inherit nice legs from my mummy? Sobz..

The sinseh asked only 2 questions: When did you fall? And he was like pressing different parts of the ankle and asked me which part was painful. The first point he pressed was quite painful but manageable. The second point was the killer *grimace*

After which he just continued massaging it non-stop.. It was soo painful... I kept closing my eyes and grabbing the edge of the table

Have to walk with this elephant feet till Thursday.. Luckily I have no school or anything on =) I am so blessed!

Today the most embarrasing thing happened to me. My teacher was returning our test scripts (I got C+ btw boo hoo... Missed ONE mark to B- but oh well still bad) to the whole cohort by alphabetical order. So when it was my turn to get it I was so eager that i duno HOW i tripped, missed a few steps and fell down. *ouch* My leg's a bit twisted/sprained now... I heard the lecture gasp heh and then my poor guy friend behind wanted to help but I think I was too afraid to move so he just stood there with me. I think he was stunned, then I told him to get my test script for me. I had to sit there for a while cos my legs were just too weak.

After my test scripts were returned, I had an hour test, the rest of my clique had the test another day. But they were so nice they all waited for me! All 4 of them... So sweet lo =) Then S*erene sent me home... Cos she drove here. And she lives in choa chu kang. So far right! Very touched. Must give the 4 of them a treat or something... Hee~ I told S*erene actually its a blessing in disguise la =p cos this sem i seem to not see her a lot. Today is like the "longest" time ever I have seen her hee =p

Btw I realised I really not used to being helped. Although its a very sweet feeling I really prefer to be the one helping waha~

My Ikea loot! Just bought the pink stool and the pink container =) Cos my leg will cramp if i sit cross legged on the floor too long wahahaha =p

The container is to put all my small little items, throw all them in so that my room will look deceivingly clean~ Bought 2 of these containers, put my papers in the other~ They are pretty useful ^_^ Hee hee can go buy moreeee~

Went out wif miss shany finally ^__^ Was craving for Miss Clarity fooood and Ice Monster! So she pei me go eat waha... even thou she was v busy *touched* Went to the Miss Clarity at Katong.. Its MUCH more spacious compared to the one at Purvis Street.

We then took a bus to Bencoolen Street to Ice Monster~ At Clarity it was sooo HOT! And we were having hot (okay lukewarm) food... den i was lk so craving the ice at Ice Monster~ And den lo and behold when we got to Ice Monster, the skies started turning dark *_* Zzzz

Mango Durian! Its actually called "Liu Mang bing" (hmm gangster?? noo hooligans? heh...) in chinese haha interesting name hur... tot it was quite a clever name~ liu lian mang guo~

The ice looked good huh... But shan says i look disappointed~ So she took a photo to show me how disappointed i look haha! Well yea i tink it was so so only leh.. maybe cos i kind of expected it to be REAL fresh. But the fruits were like sweetened and felt like they were canned fruits or you know preserved... And the durian was like soooo pureeeefied hah... And it was melting like i dun noe wat... oops but the mango ice cream is quite nice...

But come to tink about it its really not worth the price in my opinion? Think the Durian Ice kachang I ate at East Coast Park is much nicer waha.. oops... =X better dun kui it anymore lest i get shot =X

At Ice Monster

Went to BHG to shop~ Eee now then i know BHG stands for Beijing Hualien Group or something like tat.. Yeeyucks... Horrible name.. for a SHOPPING store department... ok i m biased heh~
